Triathlon is a lot. Camp makes it simpler.

Three sports, plus nutrition, gear, and a training plan. Most of us are piecing it together alone. Camp puts the coaches, the know-how, and the group in one place for 4 or 5 days.

"Fast descents terrify me."

Bike handling clinics on cornering, descending, and climbing, with coaches riding alongside you.

"I don't love swimming. I want to."

Open-water coaching on sighting, breathing, and form, with video so you can see what's changing.

"Finding experts is a part-time job."

Swim, bike, run, nutrition, and bike-fit specialists, all on site. Try different coaching styles in one trip.

"I need accountability."

Train with a group that shows up. Leave with friends, a plan, and people to check in with.

Why I started this camp

I came to endurance sports late, as an adult, after losing weight. A local run club gave me a social circle, and I fell hard for racing, training plans, and personal growth.

Then I got injured. Yoga filled the time off, and I liked it enough to complete yoga teacher training.

A yoga retreat in Costa Rica showed me what immersion can do: about 25 teachers and students, practice morning and evening, downtime for excursions or rest, and outstanding food. A week away taught me more than months at home. Swim Bike Run Camp brings that format to triathlon.

What a retreat gets right

  1. A small group of coaches and athletes learning together
  2. Yoga to bookend the day: energize in the morning, restore at night
  3. Variety of coaching styles across the week
  4. Real downtime for excursions or doing nothing
  5. Great food that's ready when you are
  6. Full immersion, so the progress sticks
